  • Live-Through Case Histories as Motivation for Software Process
Professors Lawrence Bernstein and David Klappholz

This case study is offerred to those teaching Software Engineering in two-year community colleges, undergraduate or graduate. It is also available to companies that have their own in-house training and education programs.

The only thing I ask in return is that they give the exam, send me copies of the student exam papers and their grading and a report on their experience. This data will be used as part of my research at Stevens Institute of Technology.

I am doing this work with Prof. David Klappholz and a cognitive physiologist Prof. Cathy Kelley. Cathy will help set up the scoring of the results.

Some of you teach this material and I humbly ask you to include the case history in next fall's class. Please let me know your interest. Any comments welcome.

If you can influence instructors to try the approach in next falls class that would be great.
